That's right, it's my blog's one year anniversary!! WOOOOT!!!

So today, you can celebrate with me and all the other folks who made this blog possible. I also want to give a shout-out to a friend (who also follows this blog) who helped give me the motivation and idea to actually start blogging: Gabriella McGee! Thanks for inspiring me to make this thing..and commenting on it...and stuff.. :-) (be sure to check out her blog, I'll post the link below)

But anyway...it's been a year..so just check out some of the old posts, view some of the comments and maybe even leave some comments of your own!

Like I also said, it's been a month since I last posted a Weekly Video, but fret not, for today, I have filmed the video! And in case yall are wondering why I haven't posted a video in a while, I addressed that in the video itself. I will be making a separate post for the video, so it won't show up today, but, it will be posted in the next two days, so keep an eye out for it!

And finally, here's the very first post I made on this blog back in 2011. Enjoy this first memory and I'll post a link to the post so you can see the comments on that first post (if you want to (-; ) thanks everyone for making this blog possible and for an interesting year of blogging! Christmas In October And Ridiculous Weather...

"I walk outside in my big hoodie...look down at the dog, and look back to my ipod, get my music going, and start walking. Thoughts, start to scream through my head. Ah, yeah, thoughts of the weather, and the upcoming holidays starts coming in. Yep, that colder weather sure gets you into the holiday mood...especially when the weather is in the low 50's..."

(Time passes, to the next day)

"I walk outside in a pair of shorts and a T-shirt...look down at the dog, and look back to my ipod,  get my music going, and start walking. Thoughts start to scream through my head. Ah yeah, thoughts of the weather....and how ridiculous it is. I can't believe it...it was in the 50's yesterday, and today, it's in the upper 70's."

Welcome to Oklahoma.

Where you live in either Hell, or Antarctica.

Well, now that we got that all out of the way, let's move on. It's true though, now is the time of the year when I start to think about the holidays. Specifically Christmas, and ThanksGiving...in that order. Now your probably thinking, what on earth is he doing thinking about Christmas in October?! And for that my friends, I have a good answer for you. The reason why is, I'm the party man. I'm the holiday man. I'm the decorator man!  And because I love to decorate for the holidays, I start my planning of how the Christmas lights will go outside, and when to put them up and things like that...all in October! Okay, I admit it..I'm responsible for the outside Christmas decorations. But hey! I love doing it!! I always look forward to putting up the decorations, and listening to music...AND DRINKING EGGNOG!!! (Aw yeah!! Eggnog!! Anyone like eggnog out there?)

Did I mention, I turn my radio to the All-Christmas Radio Station the first of November!!
(Hey, I love Christmas music, and I want to listen to it as much as I possibly can, I mean, after all, it only airs once a year!!)

Did I also mention that I start trying to make plans with who to have ThanksGiving with...and who to do Christmas with...even though most of the time, I get told: "it's too early to make plans with anyone Josh!". So? I don't care, I'm gonna still start making plans, for the holidays..if I can. :-)

I'm just going to say this...the last three months of the year are the best. Each month has a holiday, and the weather starts getting cooler...and it gets to being a happy time of the year!

"Okay, so lets see here, we're gonna need some Christmas lights for this part of the house, and the blow-up with go there, and then the Christmas lights in the bushes, of course...."

Your Sneek Preview...

......Harold the lead weatherman for News Channel 8 had been in front of a camera for the last three and a half hours, bringing continuous coverage of the inclement weather in the metro area. The weather had gone from bad, to worse, and wasn’t getting any better. He’d sent out ten different meteorologists to survey the hazardous weather conditions. And report on what was going on every few minutes.

“…And over here in Altus, you can see this very large, very dangerous, storm. It’s currently producing baseball, to softball size hail. And then we have…wait…go ahead Ryan.”

“Harold, I don’t know if you’re seeing this, but we are looking at some big rotation, and that it’s already kicking up some debris. Not only that, but this storm is developing very rapidly and-what’s that? What?” Ryan starts talking to his assistant.

“No. That’s not possib-“ Ryan’s eyes widen, “What in heck?! Quick move the camera over!”

The camera-man turns the camera in a 180 degree angle, to where Ryan is pointing.

“Okay, Harold are you seeing this?” Ryan says into his microphone.

“Yeah, I see it what on earth is that?!” Harold replies.

“Harold, I have no idea. I’ve never seen this.”

Everyone’s eyes are glued to the sky. The storm that Ryan had been following sudden started to build, incredibly fast. And another storm forty miles away was building at the same pace. Dark clouds on one side, an orange clear sky in the middle, and even more dark clouds on the other side of the sky.

“Harold, these storms are building at an unnatural speed. Hold on, hold on…what’s this? Harold, these storms are racing toward each other!! And as you can see, they are going to meet in the middle, right over that wheat field!”

“Okay folks, if you’re listening or watching us right now, these storms are building very rapidly. You need to be in your shelters or your safe spots immediately! Stop whatever you’re doing and get to your safe area now! These storms have gone from very dangerous, to extremely dangerous! ” Harold says into the camera.

All the people in the weather center where Harold was talking fall quiet as they watch the event unfold on the screens. They watch as the storms race toward each other, effectively swallowing up the orange sky. Every person holds their breath after what happens next. The monstrous, dark clouds keep building until:

“Harold they’re just about to-“  Ryan is unable to finish his sentence, before the two storms collide.

Lighting suddenly splits open and the sky, and a loud, but muffled, explosion sounds in the distance. The sky starts spinning like crazy. Tornadoes, appear by the dozens. Small ones, and big ones, everywhere. Moving very, very, fast.

“Harold we have a big emergency here!! We have to pull out there’s too many tornadoes!” Ryan says as him, his assistant, and the camera-man make a run for their weather van.

Harold’s eyes open wide in fear from what he was seeing. Never had he seen this many tornadoes, all at once, in his lifetime. He watches as Ryan and his crew near their van. They suddenly stop, and look at the ground.

“It’s an earthquake!” Ryan yells, “Hold on!”

The ground under Ryan’s feet shakes violently. Terror spreads across their faces, as each man tries desperately to keep his footing. Harold then feels a slight shake at the News Channel 8 Weather Center; as quickly as it came, it went. Lightning continues to split the sky, and the mobile weather look up in just enough time to see a very large, one-half mile wide wedge tornado barreling down on their position.

As they turn to run towards the van, a loud, low hum sounds in the air. Ryan turns just as he gets into the van and looks back up to the sky. In the midst of the pitch black clouds, he sees a monstrous shape, moving in between the bottom and the unseen top, of the thunderclouds. He watches as the bottom of the shape suddenly starts glowing red-hot. The bright light reflecting off of his eye-balls.

“What in hades?” Ryan said, as he started to slowly get into the van.

That’s as far as he got. Before him and a large area around him, was suddenly enveloped in a glowing red-hot beam.....

Someone To Hate...

We all live in a world that is corrupted by evil. But in that world, is the goodness and mercy of God.

Ephesians 6:12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].

Every day, Satan tries to get us with his evil tricks. And Every day, God helps us overcome those tricks. Although we may fail, God is always there with open arms to forgive us if we sin and make a bad choice. We need to do our best to please God in any and every way possible. If we do that, the Devil will hate us. Heck, he already hates us anyway, we can just make him hate us even more, by making him fail, by doing God's instructions.

Each time we make a mistake, and we fall for the Devil's tricks, he's pleased that we failed. But when we trust God to help us get through it and we come out of it giving thanks to Him, the Devil hates us even more.

If we do what God asks us to do, and what we're supposed to do, we please Him and make the Devil angry. And I don't know about you, but I would rather the Devil be angry at me, than pleased with me.

So what about you? Will you do what God is asking you to do? Will you be willing to do whatever God wants? Are you willing to kick the Devil's....um....backside? Are you ready to please God and anger Satan?
Are willing to be someone to be hated by Satan? But, in right standing with God?Are you willing to have a cold heart, towards the Devil's tricks, and a heart on fire for God?

I'm someone to hate....how about you?

...Heart is cold,

and my weapons are washed is blood,

I avow to the call on high,

My resolve in the blessed above,

In this ever consuming divide....

To A Friend I Never Met...

During this past week someone I considered a friend, (even though I had never personally met this guy), went home to be with the Lord. Jeff Randell Anderson, passed Sunday, August 5th, at 9:07pm. He loved the Lord and did his best through the difficult and frustrating times in his life.

I had wanted to meet this guy a few weeks ago, but never drew up the courage to ask to meet him. I had heard and followed his progress, through the word of mouth from a friend of mine. And now that he's passed, I regret not asking to meet him.

But from all of this, Randy taught me this lesson. It should be a lesson that we can all learn from.
While he lived, he gave his life to Jesus Christ, and did what he could to live for him. He gave his life to Christ, giving Him, his all. The fact that he's gone, tells me this.

We need to give our all to God. Doing what we can to serve Him. We have to be willing to step out of our comfort zones, to do what God would have us to do. We can't always sit on the sidelines, and hope someone else will pick up the slack. Randy eventually got to the point where he needed help. And while he couldn't do what he normally would, other families and friends of Randy, went behind him and picked up the slack that he physically could not do.

We will miss Randy. But we can know that he is in a better place, with God. No more pain and suffering latch on to him. Only joy and the goodness of God will be with him for the rest of time.

To Randy: I'm sorry I never got the opportunity to meet you. I know you went through some difficult things. And even though you are with the Lord, I still will miss you. Even though I never did get to meet you, I still consider you as my friend. I can't wait, when I get to Heaven to finally put a face behind the name. So long Randy Anderson. Rest, in God's wonderful peace. See you soon!!

So...what will you do? Will you give it all to God? Are you willing to go through rough times that you'll face as a follower of Jesus Christ? Will you help someone who needs help? Think about it. Make your decision. But understand that your decision will mean Eternal Life, or Eternal Death. Choose it wisely.

Also, please pray for the friends and families close to Randy. They are going to need prayer to get them through this. And also pray, for some friends have to make some major decisions/changes since Randy's passing.

A Dedication...

Whenever you're going through a rough time, we always need to remember that God will be there for us. No matter how much we've messed up, or how bad we feel, God will be there. He'll always be friend to us when we need one. And He'll be there even if we can't be there physically for someone else.

After talking to a friend of mine, I found out that my friend is struggling with some things. I want to dedicate this to song to that person. I hope you feel better. And know, I will always be there for you.
(Note: I will not be mentioning the person's name to keep this friend's identity anonymous)

You need a friend, someone you can trust
That stays 'til the end

I'll be the one, standing right there
A shoulder to cry on

Pre-chorus:
Take my hand
Let's walk this road together

Chorus:
I'll be there when your world falls apart
and you don't know where you are
I'll be there to keep you from falling
Whenever you're calling my name
I'll be there, I'll be there

I know your pain, you're not alone
Every day feels the same, but

My love is here, through every prayer
Through every tear

Are you an addict?

I finally found this song after hearing it at his concert in January!!!

Monday, June 25, 2012

In The End....

The End.....a saying to wrap up stories and big movies. But it also has a different meaning to me. The end is when our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ comes back and takes us all with him. Everything we do, whether it be good or bad, will end up deciding what happens when we die or when Jesus comes back for us. It doesn't matter if we do all the good things we can on Earth, but if we don't personally know Jesus to be our Lord and Savior, it will mean nothing. Good deed won't get you into Heaven, only Jesus can get you into Heaven. All those other things like, helping the poor, feeding the hungry are all part of what God wants us to do. But we have to know Him personally to have Eternal Life....the life that God, and only God can give us. In the end, nothing is going to matter, except God and our personal relationship with Him.
I found this song and it makes me think that we need to be serious about God. In the end, nothing will matter....we need God, as much as He needs and wants our love for Him. Hope yall enjoy the song!!

Nothing Like Good Friends...

We all have different kinds of friends. Some may be tall, other short. Some may be strong, and others, not so much. Some may be guys, some girls. But we were created to have friends. God created Adam, and then gave him a friend and partner, Eve.

So who are your friends? What's going on in their lives? Maybe they're going through a rough period and need some encouragement. Or maybe they just need someone to talk to. So I want to challenge you, to find a friend as often as you can, and give them a smile. Give them a hug, cause who doesn't like hugs (we all need 'em at some point.)? Say some kind words to them. Or if they're having a bad day, offer to hear about it. That might just be what they need right now....

From Pain To Healing (Part 2)

Before I start part 2; if you haven't read part 1, please scroll down and read part 1. That way you can understand what happened to me and what is now currently going on.

Ending of part 1: I don't remember anything after that, but throughout 2001, we went back and forth to hospital. We at one point had a Praise Party For Jesus, thanking him and believing that he would heal me. And in 2002, we got the news that I no longer had ITP. We were so happy and thanking God for healing me....but no-one expected that I would spend a lot of the next 7 years in my bed......

We had been totally relieved to know that God had healed me from ITP. And it was nice for me not to have to go to the hospital every Tuesday and get my finger pricked. But ITP was only the start of the pain. In 2002, I had started noticing that I was getting headaches, at first they weren't real bad, they were just the run-of-the-mill, annoying pains in your head type. towards the end of 2002, things took a turn for the worse. They started getting more painful and much more frequent, about 3-4 times a week. My parents had established a method of grading how bad the headaches were, from 1 (least amount of pain) to 10 (greatest amount of pain). My parents also got this sixth sense, where they could look at my face and ask if I had a headache. I would tell them and then we would go from there.

At the beginning of 2003, that's when the migraines hit. At first it was like this: regular headache 3-4 times a week with 1 maybe 2 being a migraine. Then, it suddenly changed, it turned from headaches 3-4 times a week, to 6-7 times a week. (Note: each headache last one day). The migraines went up too, from 1-2, to 3-4 times a week. And it ended up being....a migraine every day of the week. I had entered an incredibly painful state. My parents did everything they could, but the migraines kept winning. I going to give an example of one of those days: It starts out, I eat breakfast and the first headache starts. My mom asks me what number is it, I reply with a 2. But the pain increased very rapidly. From a 2 to a 10 in a matter of twenty minutes. I would move to my bedroom, close the door, barely turn on the radio, shut my blinds, and make my room as quiet and dark as I could. I would ask my mom to bring me hot/cold washcloths to put on my forehead. I would also ask for a "barf bucket". She would put a special white bell on my nightstand, to call her if I needed something. I would usually try to make it to the bathroom to vomit, but would be too tired and would not make it in time, so it would always be the barf-bucket that saved the day. I would take a scalding hot shower and pray and ask God to heal my head. I at one point looked at myself in the mirror walking very slowly from my room to the bathroom to take a shower. My face was extremely pale, my lips were chapped and cracking, my heart would race like crazy, at times my legs got very numb, where I could barely feel them, and it felt as if they had swollen up three times their size. I would feel very hot or very cold. The way I would move and the way my behavior was, and to the way I looked, you could say I was a zombie. My parents would call the Christian radio stations and The 700 Club (at Christian show my mom would watch) and ask them to pray with me. I wouldn't eat and would sip small amounts of water......

I started Tae Kwon Do when I was eight, and was still dealing with the migraines. Limiting me to what I could and could not do. Finally in 2009, my mom one day told me when I was in the kitchen, she said this: "I just realized you don't get migraines or headaches as often as you used to." And I knew she was right, I hadn't dealt with a migraine in over four months. We thanked God again for healing me.

Today, I rarely get headaches, migraines even fewer. But when I do, it's mostly because of allergies, and my sinuses getting inflamed and packed with gunk. I can sometimes get over them, but now, they are so concentrated in one part of my head, I want to do the same thing I did when I got the migraines. I still get the zombie look, but haven't had the numbness in my legs since I was younger. Over the years, my family has tried to figure out why I had so many migraines. The only reasonable answer we've been able to come up with, is that when I was being treated for ITP whatever medicine or treatment they did on me, had to have side-affects. And one of those we guess to be the migraines I went through. Our answer has never been confirmed or denied, but we know we'll most likely find out when we get to Heaven. That time in my life was difficult, but with much prayer, and faith in God to heal me, everything turned out just fine.

From Pain To Healing (Part 1)

(Note: the stuff you're about to read, not all of my friends or family (I think) know about.)

Thursday the 5th of April 2012, I find myself at my Martial Arts class, it's the second our of the class, and I'm sitting in an orange chair with my head arms. I try to relax as the pain in my left eye increases: I have a headache. I can't seem to get comfortable, and finally our class is over. We go home and I get into the shower trying again to relax and open my sinuses. I does help a little bit, but I start thinking about how all this got started. I remember back 11 years ago, when I was 5.

We had just moved to our new house and we were settling in. That's when it started. My parents had noticed I was starting to bruise easily, one evening my mom was out of the house, and I was running through the hallway, when I cut my foot on a toy motorcycle. My dad went about as usual with washing the area with water, and blotting it dry, we were in the bathroom for almost an hour, and my foot hadn't stopped bleeding. My dad called my mom, and told her what was happening, and they both got concerned. I don't fully know how I was diagnosed, but I do remember finding out, I had
Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura (or ITP). A blood disease, where you're blood does not clot like normal. It takes much longer than normal for the platelets in your blood to clot. I again do not remember all the details, but I remember getting signed up at OU Children's Hospital, for some sort of testing/curing program, to figure out the disease.

Every Tuesday, I would go up to the hospital, and get my blood drawn, they monitored me and some other patients, to do some experimental cures/tests. I was, still bruising, and going back and forth from the hospital. Then came that day.......I was complaining about my head hurting to my mom, she gave me some pain medication, but my headache only got worse. It later got to the point where I was in so much pain, my mom took me to the hospital where I usually get treated. My whole head was throbbing from the biggest migraine I've ever gotten. Mom pulled into the parking garage, and as soon as I step out of the car, I bend over and vomit by the car. My eyes hurt from the sun, the loud street didn't help, but hinder. We got inside, I was very pale and my lips were chapped,  mom signed me in and I laid down, with my head in her lap. Right as we got called to the back, I stood up, and vomited again on the floor of the waiting room. We were ushered into the room with a hippo table, and was place on it and laid down. My mom, was discussing my problem with the doctor, when the doctor resolved to get me something for the pain. She gave me this red liquid, and seconds later, it was on the floor of the "Hippo" room. Everything is foggy until I find myself in a wheelchair, with a needle in my arm attached to a bag of fluid, still pale and in pain.

I don't remember anything after that, but throughout 2001, we went back and forth to hospital. We at one point had a Praise Party For Jesus, thanking him and believing that he would heal me. And in 2002, we got the news that I no longer had ITP. We were so happy and thanking God for healing me....but no-one expected that I would spend a lot of the next 7 years in my bed......

The Funny Stuff In Life (Part 3), And J-$w@gg3r's Weekly Happinings

So last Friday, I went with my mom to pick up a copy of the Xbox360 game: Portal 2. After hanging around Target for a little while, we head for home. I jump out of the car, walk to the front door, rip it open and AAAAUUUUUUUUGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! I scream and leap back from the front door. My dad stands right beside our big wooden door (I was opening our glass door) with a creepy smile on his face.

Bungie=Halo, No More.....Plus Weekly Vid Update

The Month: March.

The Day: 31st.

The Year: 2012

Well, as of the date above, the video game company known as "Bungie", is no longer receiving or updating: Halo 2/Halo 3/Halo ODST/ Halo Reach stats. Halo's founding company has said their final good-byes to Halo, and have officially turned the Halo stats, franchise, and anything else Halo related, over to 343 Industries. It was a day of sadness and happiness to Halo fans everywhere. From 2001, when Bungie released Halo (Combat Evolved), to Halo Reach in 2010, it's been an awesome experience.
But with Bungie moving forward to another project, that leaves 343i to pick up where Bungie left off. Good luck to you 343i, and as Bungie always says: See you starside!!!

(Note: to view the incredible Halo status of all collected data from Bungie since they first released Halo, please follow this link:

Music, Food Problems, And The Funny Stuff In Life Part 3 (Part 2)

Well, apparently me and my food don't always get along. Here are some pics to show you what I'm talking about.
In this picture, I was cutting my pizza, and then I started to lift my pizza and "Splat"!! Goes my topping back on the plate that held the pizza...it wasn't a very happy pizza.
Here, my sister made a thing that is sorta like a breaded cheese-stick that has broccoli inside. So I decided out of extreme hilarity grabbed a knife, and stabbed my food where it didn't hurt. It was soo incredibly AWESOME!!!
(This is another angle of my dead, non-living food.)
This is a more happy picture....I do love my twinkies!!! AND NOBODY GETS IN THE WAY OF ME AND MY TWINKIES!!!!!!
And finally here's me..and enjoying my Monster drink....aaaawwwweeee I LOVE 'EM!!!!!
(Did you happen to notice my new haircut?)

The Funny Stuff In Life (Part 3)
So last month I was just about to go to bed, I had brushed my teeth, flossed, then I went to my bedroom, put on my pajamas, and went to get in bed. I put my hand on the bed getting ready to get in it..it was furry, now before we move any further, I'm going to put you in my head so you can understand what happened. "Ahh I love my be-huh? Oh it just that my bed's furry.....wait beds aren't supposed to be furry!!! I move my hand again, more fur. YYYYYYAAAAAAUUUUUUUGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" (That me screaming hysterically, while launching myself from the bed, two feet in the air, and falling on the floor. Note, I'm not exaggerating this time.) It hits me while I'm in a heap on the floor. I start to laugh and look back to where I put my hand on the bed....my DOG looks at me like: "Why are you yelling? You touch my back and then start screaming your head off. You're disturbing my beauty sleep." So there you have it, my dog freaks me out, and I scream in hysteria.

You're laughing your head off right now aren't you? Yeah, you just wait until some, REAL furry monster scares the heck out of you!! (LOL, I'm just kidding)

It's Spring Time......

So I've been noticing the weather lately, and it seems a bit warm. And you all know what that means....IT'S SPRING TIME!!! What? It's still Winter? Eh, who cares, but anyway. With all this warmer weather it makes me think about all Spring has to offer. Things like, warm weather of course, blooming flowers, blooming trees, like the Bradford Pair Trees, (that stink like crud), and (one of my favorites), the thunderstorms!!! I personally love the thunderstorm part. Cause, I love the darkening, of the clouds, the flashes and crackles of the lightning, the booms of the thunder, and the whoosh of the high winds. And most of all...the TWISTERS!!! Not that I like the destruction, cause I don't, but the sheer power and terror of them is awesome. But enough about my favorite things about the Spring, what are yours?

                                                                This is part one!!

Death Is A Natural Part Of Life, Part 2...

Wow........the current time and date: February 20th, 2012, 8:46 P.M.

We just got a call from my aunt. That one hour ago, my Great Grandmother in Michigan just went home to be with the Lord. Mom......my mom was very close to her Grandma, I do not know all of the details, but we were all very close to Grandma. She, was very determined to reach the age of 100, if God allowed her to, I do not know exactly what age she was, nor do I think it's a good idea to ask right now. What's hitting our family, especially my mom, real hard is that her passing was unexpected. I think that in, yet another time, of weeping and sorrow, this Bible verse comes to mind:

Ecclesiastes Chapter 3:1-11 Says:
To every [thing there is] a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up [that which is] planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth?
I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it.
He hath made every [thing] beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

Seeing as this verse says, we will weep, for our Grandmother and rejoice for where she has gone.

Great Grandmother, Ella Asaro. February 20th, 2012, (roughly)7:45 P.M.
Love you Grandma and we miss you terribly.
(Please pray for my mom, I can tell she really needs it right now)

Sour Candy and Flat Soda!!!

So Valentines Day, my mom was rummaging through our pantry in the kitchen, I didn't think a whole lot about it. Then later we were sitting in the dining room when my mom says to my sister, take out the trash and the recycling. Mom pick up to bottles of soda, one of them being flat-who-knows-how-long-we-have-had-this, root-beer and another flat-who-knows-how-we-have-had-this, Dr. Pepper. My mom then says, anyone want to see if this is any good? My sister right off the bat says, "EW, MOM!! That's discu-", that's as far as she got before I grabbed the bottle of Dr. Pepper, and chime in, "I'll do it!!". I screw of the cap, sniff it to see if anyone poisoned it, (did I mention there was about one more glass full of soda in there?) tip that sucker upside down and chug it!!! After I finish, I hand the empty bottle to my sis, and mom asked if it was flat, I said yes, but it was still good!!

Moving on to Wednesday, that evening my mom needed to run to Sooner Mall, to do something, (I still don't know why we went), but in the car my sister kept telling me, (and through out the day) that I needed a Reality Tab. I finally had a fit and was sick of her telling me that, and I demanded she tell me what the heck she was talking about. She passed me this bottle and to green-pill-lookin'-things, and said, read the instructions. I did, but then asked if what I had was edible. After more irritated discussions, I finally ate them. Yes, they were edible. When we got to the mall, I said to my mom, that I wanted to go to Candyopolis, to see what Destini had been talking to me about. Mom goes to two other places, and we finally make to Candyopolis. I look around....WOW......Destini show me where she got the Reality Tabs, and I look at other versions of them. Finally for a small Valentines Day gift mom lets us pick something smallish/cheapish. I look, and look, and look but can't find what I'm looking for. I ask Destini and she points to the where it was, and I zoom over there. In front of me was all the Sour candy you could find!! I look it all over trying to figure out what was the Most and leased Sour. I find a chart and see what it says, there's a rating scale and I see what that says. The least sour stuff was something like Sour Patch Kids or something. And the most sour was Toxic Waste. For me, this is what I picked (Can you guess before you scroll down?):
Here it is, THE TOXIC WASTE!!!! (for those of you that don't know yet, I LOVE sour candy, but even the most sour stuff I found, wasn't sour enough.) So I decided to go with the big daddy. After we check out, I opened it up, took out a wrapper, unwrapped the candy, and popped it into my mouth.
I look at the container, and look at the strength of it, and say this is the sourest stuff!?!?!?! This is sour my foot!!! It wasn't that sour, or maybe, I'm just so used to sour stuff I've become immune. The only real sour one was a Lemon Flavored.....hang on, I'm salivating here........I thought maybe, just maybe, if I do like what I usually do with sour candy, put multiple ones in my mouth at once!! I didn't do it last night, but I thought that since I'm going to a concert Saturday night (Winter Jam, baby!!!), I'll do it then, just to spice the excitement up, when we're there.

And that's the end,  I've now become a flat pop drinker, and a Toxic Waste Sour Mouth!!!
Heheheheheheheheheh (Tit, tit, crash!!) (<--------Drum joke)

Goodbye...Christmas? And The Funny Stuff In Life (Part 2)

I walk into the living room, stop and look around. With a big sigh, I go and sit on the couch. I think back to when we put up our Christmas decorations in December, and how great they looked on the inside and the outside of the house. I loved the house. But now, with the decorations down, the house looks empty and plain. the fact that yesterday (February 13th) when we took them down....okay, okay, I know what you all are thinking. Who are these crazy people, that left their Christmas decorations until February?! But tell you what......ah never mind.

So yesterday, I was on my computer, and my mom came up to me, said something, bent down to kiss me on the forehead, and all of a sudden...BZZZTT!!! My mom gets shocked on her:

A) Her lip,
B) Her nose,
C) Her tooth,
D) Her eye

If you said: C) her tooth, you would be correct!! Another one of the ways, that only my mom, can accomplish.

Not only that, but that evening, OUR DOG FARTED IN THE KITCHEN!!!! And (gag, gag, gag) it stunk terribly, I was in the living room and I still smelled it!!! Phew-wee!!! The good-news is, we finally gave her a bath and that got rid of the (gag, gag, gag) stink!!!

And last but not least, when me and my dad put up our X-mas Decorations, in the attic, the last thing we had to put up is this huge sick-green colored trunk, (that had extra X-mas decor). I tried lifting, pushing, liftingpushingliftingpushingliftingpushingliftingpushingliftingpushingliftingpushingliftingpushing, "Josh do you need me to trade places with you?", "No dad, I got this." Liftingpushingliftingpushingliftingpushingliftingpushingliftingpushingliftingpushingliftingpushing some more,
"Josh, are you sure you don't want me to trade places?, "Dad, I'm sure, this (grunt-groan) is (groan-grunt-strain) a (strain) MANS JOB (GASP!!)!!

Ugh!!! (that's me having strained enough for the veins in my neck to bulge, and giving up as the trunk squashes me between itself and our big orange ladder). "Josh, I'm going to trade places with you." "Fine dad, fine (gasp).

So there you have it, from my mom electrocuting her tooth on my nose, to the dog farting and gagging us out, to me nearly squashing myself to death, (or maybe from me popping a vein), it all comes together. And that's part 2 of the funny stuff in life!!!

Death Is A Natural Part Of Life...

So about a week and a half ago, I was sleeping and I had this dream. In it I saw my Grandmother, she was driving a black Ford Pickup, and she was, laughing and smiling.
I saw that she was thoroughly enjoying herself with no problems or issues. Then it ended.
I woke up and was thinking back to last years Mothers Day when we traveled as a family down to Texas, to see my Grandmother. When we got there everyone was thrilled to see each other. My Grandma, heh, she had the biggest smile of them all. She was amazed at how much me and my sister had grown. When I saw her I gave her a hug, but I had noticed that she looked quite thin. Knowing all the health issues she had been dealing with over soo many years, I was trying not to hurt her when we hugged. By the end of the weekend, I overheard my Grandfather and my dad talking. My Grandfather had tears running down his cheeks as he said: Thank you so much for coming down, I think Mama's been hanging in there for this moment, and I think her time is about to come to a close. When I heard these words, I knew he was probably right. I looked at my Grandmother and smiled, not having too many memories of her, at least I had some. We said our goodbyes got pictures of everyone and left.

Roughly two months later, my dad received a phone call from my Grandpa, saying that my Grandma had taken her final breath and gone home to be with the Lord. We immediately gathered our things, and left for her funeral early the next morning. When we were at the funeral they showed pictures of her, and our most recent pictures of her on Mothers Day. There was a service, and there were tears. For me I didn't cry (not to sound cold hearted or anything), I was personally glad and relieved. I had heard and seen her struggle through many heart attacks, strokes, and numerous surgeries. And I new that she no longer had any more pain. She could speak freely without any trouble, she could run, and dance and do all the things she couldn't do when she was ill. Sure it was hard letting her go, but it was easier knowing where she went when she passed.

To Grandma: I know you are in a more peaceful place. Having no worries down here on earth. I know you can do soo many things now. I can't wait to see you and hear your voice again. And I will see you once the Lord Jesus Christ comes back for his followers. Love you Grandma, see you soon.
